PilogaFit classes aim to increase Spine and Core Stability and run three times a week in Wells and one nearby in Wedmore.
Exercise practice with mindful movements, will help all, but particularly those with weak abdominal muscles and or low back pain.
The approach is based on the recommendations through scientific research, of the world top back specialist, Dr Stuart McGill.
A key objective is to mobilise the hips and shoulders to spare the stabilised spine. This is to to stop the damaging increasing addiction towards rounding the shoulders and back..
The McGill postures may look like some Pilates and Yoga, but many are significantly modified or excluded in the light of sciientific research and practice including the American and Canadian armed forces.
