Rare Plant Fair at The Bishop’s Palace
19th August 2018 10am-6pm
On Sunday 19th August from 10am-6pm, the Rare Plant Fair will once again return to The Bishop’s Palace & Gardens in Wells.
Visitors will be able to browse over 20 stalls of rare and unusual plants from a selection of top nurseries from all over the South West.
The Rare Plant Fair back in March attracted nearly 1,000 gardeners who came along to enjoy looking at and buying from a splendid array of nurseries and plants in this stunning setting.
Run by Teresa and Ian Moss, the nurseries are carefully curated to ensure that they produce most or all of the plants themselves and that they are experts in their fields; able to give advice to potential purchasers. Rare Plant Fairs will ensure that the range of plants on offer represents a wide variety of different choices, including perennials, shrubs and trees, alpines, bulbs and exotic plants.
The Bishop’s Palace will also be selling their own plants, grown on site by the dedicated gardening team, so you can take a little piece of the Gardens home with you!
Whether you’re an experienced horticulturalist or a keen amateur, there’s sure to be something to tempt you.
Entrance to the Fair is £6 and includes entrance to the Palace & 14 acres of RHS partner Gardens.
