Wells Cathedral is delighted to be welcoming Tasmin Little, internationally renowned violinist, who will be joined by members of the Fantasia Orchestra, and their conductor Tom Fetherstonhaugh for two Remembrance Concerts on Saturday 7th November at 2pm & 7:30pm. The remembrance inspired programme will include the 'Lark Ascending' by Ralph Vaughan Williams and a surprise piece performed by Tasmin Little. The Fantasia Orchestra will also play Bach Orchestral Suite No.2 in B minor, Ravel Pavane pour une Infante Défante, and Schubert Symphony No.5.
In January 2019 Tasmin made the announcement that, after a long and exciting career, she has decided to pursue new directions in 2021. This therefore marks one of her final performances, and the last in Wells Cathedral.
Tickets are available online via the Cathedral’s website, and early purchase is recommended if you would like to attend.
